Once upon a time there was a dog mom …
Hi! My name is Tiffany Wagner, and I am the dog mom behind this French Bulldog Blog and our Instagram @peace_love_frenchies.
I have always been a dog mom, but so much has changed in my life over the past several years that led me to start a dog mom lifestyle blog. Before I was a French Bulldog mom, I was a Pitbull mom (and I still am a Pitbull mom). I don’t know if I got lucky, but my Pitbulls were always healthy and generally easy to take care of. I lost my Pitbull named Subee very unexpectedly. She was my soul dog, my heart dog, and the dog that gave my life a purpose as a dog mom.
My husband and I had always wanted to share our life with French Bulldogs. A few months after we lost Subee, we decided to start our search for the perfect Frenchie. Once we brought home Yoda, we quickly realized that we had room for another French Bulldog, and that’s when we found Luna. I just never felt like I had a lot to share when it came for caring for the Pitbulls – they were easy dogs to provide for. The French Bulldogs definitely give me A LOT to write about when it comes to specialty care.
I Googled things endlessly about French Bulldogs and thought I had a good idea about what it took to be a Frenchie Mom. Lemme tell ya… nothing could have prepared me for how high maintenance this breed truly is. I love caring for them but, they require so much more specialty care than I had experienced with my Pitbulls.
Allergies, Wrinkle Cleaning, Bathing, IVDD, Corneal Ulcers, Tail Pockets, the list goes on! I quickly realized that I needed support, I needed to reach out to other French Bulldog parents, and I wanted to help others, as well.
This blog is dedicated to sharing what’s worked for me when it comes to caring for my French Bulldogs, the health issues that I’ve experienced with them, and the overall joy ALL of my dogs add to my life. I do try to share the Pitbulls as often as I can so, you’ll get to know them too. You can get to know all of my dogs through their dedicated blog entries list at the end of this introduction!
I am also obsessed with fun DIY dog mom projects and DIY dog treat recipes. Both of my French Bulldogs are sensitive to different foods, so you’ll find mostly dairy-free, egg-free, and wheat-free treat recipes on the blog. You can start with our super-simple Cucumber Watermelon Dog Treat Recipe!
Why Peace, Love, and Frenchie Farts? I am here to tell you that this breed is G A S S Y! Believe it when you read about French Bulldogs farting a lot. If there’s a magical French Bulldog out there that never farts, I would like to mee them! L O L

I am not expert when it comes to raising dogs but the more we can all connect on our successes and failures – then we can all have a better opportunity to grow as dog parents together. The best we can do is just continue seeking knowledge to better the live of our dogs and our own.
