Pumpkin Apple Homemade Dog Treats will make the perfect addition for the holiday season! Or any season!
A lot has changed around here! Our son joined the world in October, and we’ve been enjoying our time bonding as a new family. Everyone told me I would have so much free time, but I haven’t found that to be the case so far. However, I couldn’t let the holidays go by without making these Pumpkin Apple Homemade Dog Treats for my pups.

These treats are so easy that I managed to whip them up even on my newborn’s schedule!
A newborn’s schedule is no joke. The 1-3 hours I have between feedings hasn’t left time for my usual holiday treat baking session. However, make sure to check some of my most popular pie dog treat recipes!
These new Pumpkin Apple Homemade Dog Treats are so easy. Hopefully, you’ll already have most of the ingredients you already need. Check your cupboards for plain canned pumpkin, unsweetened applesauce, quick oats, honey, and cinnamon.
Bonus: Don’t waste a can of pumpkin! Measure your pumpkin and applesauce into individual bags or containers, freeze, and then thaw when you’re ready to make another batch of these treats.
Are these Pumpkin Apple Homemade Dog Treats healthy?
Of course! These treats are both healthy and limited ingredients. Check out some of the health benefits of each ingredient below.
