These No-Bake Dog Treats couldn’t be any easier! All of my dogs absolutely LOVED them, and I can see myself making these very often. What’s even better is that they can be used as pill pockets for your dog’s medication because they remain soft. Have you seen all of the ingredients in the store-bought pill pockets? UH, YUCK!

This is a great recipe for kids to help with too. It’s so simple and the only tools you need are your hands, a mixing bowl, an airtight container, measuring cups, and spoons. There are only three ingredients and one of them is optional: Quick Oats, Peanut Butter, and Honey. As always if you can use single-ingredient peanut butter I would definitely recommend it. Otherwise, just make sure your peanut butter does not contain Xylitol as this can be toxic to your pup.

All of the pups will pose for treats!
I consider it to be a miracle when I get them all in one frame! Even if one’s face is blocked by a treat. (LOL)

DIY No Bake Dog Treats

Recipe by TiffanyDifficulty: Easy

No bake treats that can also be used as pill pockets for your pups medication.

Ingredients

  • 1 Cup of Quick Oats

  • 1/2 Cup of Peanut Butter (I prefer single ingredient peanut butter but you can use any type of regular creamy peanut butter that does NOT contain Xylitol.)

  • 1 tsp. Honey (Optional)

Directions

  • Combine all of your ingredients in a mixing bowl.Skip the spoon and just use your hands.
  • After ingredients are well combine all you need to do is roll the mixture into ball shaped treats (you can do whatever size suits your pup best).
  • Place in an airtight container and refrigerate for 30 minutes before serving to your pup.

Notes

  • Honey should not be given to dogs under one year old.

This recipe is in no way meant to be a meal replacement. It’s just a tasty treat! Always consult with your vet about ingredients that they feel are safe for your pup.
